The lie of capitalism.

I came across an interesting interview today, a slovak philosopher, predicting the end of civilisation, and blamed it on the cult of cargo, or as we enlightened folk call it, capitalism.

Yes it does seem the forces of capitalism have taken the world, and the world seems headed in a bad direction. There are certain small goodnesses, but by and large, we are headed off a cliff. Not right away, but slowly and steadily.

Capitalims is based on constant growth, 3% being ideal. The USA, has 3% right now and is not happy, China is pushing 6%. The EU is at Zero. As I see it the EU is the only great economic body in stasis, and stability. Growth cannot continue in a finite medium. As Steven Hawkins has recently commented, earth is doomed. He figures we have less than 100 years before the earth will no longer sustain life.

Who sustains the capatilist market? Who is to blame? ....All of us.
